Hashtags play an important role in guiding users to their preferred content when browsing adult websites. What are the top 10 hashtags on SWAG in 2022? How’s the trending between quarters? Please refer to the chart below.

Looking back at SWAG’s 111 preset hashtags in 2022, the most clicked hashtag was “#Big Tits,” far ahead of “#Oral.” Additionally, it was found that 16.88% of users who once used search function would click “#Big Tits” hashtag, indicating that 1 out of every 6 hashtag users was interested inthis hashtag.

When hashtags were ranked by region, “#Big Tits” consistently ranked within the top three in every region. The rankings also revealed variations in audience preferences across regions. For instance, “#Petite” was only present in the Taiwanese rankings, while “#Masturbation” and “#Maid” were exclusive to the Thai rankings.

When the data of 2022 was divided into four quarters to analyze the trends, a significant shift in the popularity of hashtags was observed in the 4th quarter. The hashtags “#Gangbang,” “#College-girl” and “#Pregnant” rose to prominence, while “#doggy style,” “#Missionary,” and “#Teen,” which were leading in the first three quarters, had to cede their positions.

SWAG values and respects the content of each creator, and as such, the hashtags for videos are subject to editing by the creators themselves. Which hashtags were most popular in terms of sales? They were “#Oral,” which accounted for 24% of themed AV sales, followed by “#Masturbation” and “#Missionary.” Regional preferences were also observed, with “#露點 (nipples or pussy)” appearing only in the Taiwanese list, “#痴女 (Hypersexual Woman)” only appearing in the Japanese list, and “#Hairless” making the top 10 only in Malaysia and Singapore.

 

Quarterly trend of best-selling hashtags

While the searching trend of hashtags was relatively consistent quarter-to-quarter, the competition in 2022 themed AV sales was strong, resulting in entirely different lists of best-selling hashtags each quarter. “#Oral” topped the rankings in the first three quarters, but in the 4th quarter, five new themes made the list. “#露臉 (face showing)” saw a dramatic rise in popularity, appearing on the list from the 3rd quarter and taking the top spot in the 4th quarter.

It’s worth noting that Malaysian adult influencer MsPuiYi uploaded her first exclusive adult video on SWAG on December 6, 2022, and within a month, the hashtag “#MsPuiYi” had already reached the 13th ranking on the 4th quarter’s list of popular themes, with only one video.

In terms of unlocked viewing ratio, the top theme was “#情趣用品 (sexy toys),” followed by “#孟若羽” (also known as “#暗黑楊丞琳”). On average, one out of every 20 people who entered the related content was willing to spend diamonds to unlock and archive the content. There were two creators on the list, each with unique features and personal IDs: “#yidhra,” who has a naturally large I-cup bust and has gained a loyal following with the hashtag “#i cup,” and “#娜娜” (nanalittlepupy), who used “#臉奶 (face & boobs)” to upload multiple videos of both her face and breasts in the same frame.

Supporters accounted for 35% of all diamond consumers, i.e., on average, one out of every three diamond consumers had unlocked @ladyyuan’s performances or videos. The 2022 Top 10 List saw five new creators, with @lolabb taking the 5th place as a rookie of 2022.

If we divide the service types and reorder the number of supporters, it becomes evident that creators who offer services across multiple categories tend to perform better. For example, @ladyyuan and @jenniebebee were listed in all three categories, while @alleys and @linlinbebe were listed in two categories, which is a significant accomplishment.

In 2022, the creator with the largest growth in diamond-consuming supporters compared to 2021 was @lolabb, who ranked 5th on the list of most popular creators. The ranking of other hashtags was roughly the same, indicating a similarity in preferences among the audiences in Taiwan.

Ranked from left to right based on the number of unlockings in cities, the top two hashtags in the cities in Taiwan were “#Oral” and “#Masturbation.” The rest of the top ten hashtags were also similar, with only slight variations in order. Among the cities in Taiwan with a high concentration of SWAG users (in six municipalities + Hsinchu), Hsinchu’s users have an average online time of 6.98 minutes and were ranked first. On the other hand, Taichung was ranked last, with an average of 6.24 minutes, which was lower than the average of all users in Taiwan.

2022 Analysis of User Habit on SWAG

Analysis of fast-forward behavior

In 2022, 91.81% of SWAG’s users unlocking videos used the fast-forward function. The users in Thailand had the highest fast-forward rate of 93.25%. In contrast, the users in Vietnam had the lowest rate of using the fast-forward function, with only 84.98%.

If the total fast-forward time is combined, the result is 5.78 billion seconds, equivalent to approximately 183 years. This is longer than the duration of the Jin Dynasty (266-420 AD), the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589 AD), and the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127 AD).

 

Analysis of archive item review

In 2022, an average of 10.72% of SWAG’s users reviewed their favorite items from the “archive” weekly. The users in Taiwan had the highest usage rate at 12.01% per week, while those in Japan had the lowest review rate at 6.02%.

If further subdivided, the average number of online people was the most at 0:00 to 1:00 on Wednesday, and the least at 5:00 to 6:00 on Tuesday.
